Projects - Health communication and social marketing
Living with Osteoarthritis
Project Health was involved in the development of a guide designed for people who have osteoarthritis of the hip and/or knee. It aims to help people understand their condition so that they can share in decision making about their health and better manage their condition.
The information kit:
- Explains osteoarthritis and how it may affect your life
- Provides information about medicines and other non drug therapies to guide you in deciding what treatment is best for you
- Helps you to take steps to maintain and improve your quality of life
ARA Medicine Information Sheets
Project Health has a longstanding relationship with the Australian Rheumatology Association (ARA) and has been involved in the development and review/update of Medicine Information Sheets.
There are currently over 30 information sheets covering a range of rheumatology medications. The information sheets are reviewed each year and revised using feedback from patients focus groups and new information.
